Church Street Cow

The JSC contribution to the "Cows Come Home to Burlington" community art project looks placidly...or at least plaid-ly, on.

JSC art students, organized by Campus Arts Coordinator Leila Bandar, took inspiration from the local Johnson Woolen Mills, and painted the fiberglass cow plaid. After spending a few weeks on campus, the cow made its way to Church Street in Burlington, where it is part of a larger herd of 34 other cows.

The cow will be auctioned off at the end of the summer to raise funds for the Vermont Campaign to End Childhood Hunger.

Small Fry Soccer Clinic

JSC soccer team players hosted a Small Fry Soccer Clinic for children in pre-K through age 8 in April.

JSC Alumni and Development Director Sally Laughlin has won the first Zetterstrom Environmental Award.

JSC Break Away Students host the college's first "reverse Break Away" trip for students from the Kips Bay Boys and Girls Club in the Bronx.
